ASCLS Awards

ASCLS has always been a grassroots organization, which values the contribution of each member at all levels of the society and profession of clinical laboratory science. One way to acknowledge such important involvement is through the annual awards program. Over 20 award categories have been developed to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of our members. These categories include those for:

Membership
Research
Industry
Scholarships
Professional achievement
Individual volunteerism

to name a few. Each year, the Constituent Society Presidents receive the guidelines for the current year's awards program. These guidelines are also available to everyone, and provide up-to-date information, criteria and application forms. If you have any questions, you can always contact your society President or the current Chair of the ASCLS Awards committee. Many times, these awards are not given out because our members don't apply. As a society, we LOVE to celebrate the strengths and achievements of our members. Don't hesitate to nominate yourself or someone you know!
