The ASCLS host hotel is the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Located at 540 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611, this hotel is in the heart of Uptown Chicago and is just a few blocks from The Galleria for shopping, dining and entertainment. This 23-story modern hotel is also located near the Museum and Theater districts.

ASCLS Provides HOPE in Chicago
ASCLS is once again giving back to the Annual Meeting host city with ASCLS Provides HOPE – Helping Other People Event. In collaboration with the Gads Hill Center, the ASCLS Promotion of the Profession committee (PPC) will be holding a donation drive at the ASCLS 2014 Annual Meeting to provide school supplies in support of Gads Hill’s many education programs Please visit the ASCLS Promotion of the Profession committee website for details, including donation ideas and collection times.
ASCLS is seeking active student members to apply for the ASCLS Student Travel Grant which provides funding to attend the 2014 ASCLS Annual Meeting being held July 29-August 2 in Chicago, IL!
Yes, we are fortunate to have received funding from a very generous donor, and now we are recruiting student applicants!
The grant fund will assist in supporting up to six students to attend the Annual Meeting. Grant winners will receive up to $1000 for travel expenses and meeting registration.

To be considered for the grant, applicants must:
- be a current ASCLS student member;
- not be a state or regional student representative or state delegate to the 2014 Annual Meeting; and
- be registered as a full student for the Annual Meeting by receipt of the application to the ASCLS office.
The completed application & meeting registration confirmation must be received by May 9th to be eligible for consideration.
