Career Recruitment Brochures or CD - career recruitment brochures (prices vary with quantity purchased) and a CD ($20 plus shipping cost) may be purchased to be used in a display or career booth. The CD can be played continuosly and personalized for your laboratory. Children's books - The creative character "Laboratory Explorers" help explain and visualize, what a laboratory professional's role is in helping to identify disease or disorders. Laboratorians, the hematopathologist and the hematology/oncology physician, also share their part in this particular case. This story helps to demonstrate the vital role that laboratorians play. The video is intended to inspire and empower members of the laboratory profession to articulate the importance of their contributions to healthcare. Clinical Lab Tests and Disease - a trifold flyer develped by the East Carolina University Clinical Lab Science Program. It describes who performs laboratory testing and provides a table to explain what common blood and urine tests can help to identify. Patient Safety Tips Flyers - two flyers were created by the ASCLS Patient Safety Committee to be used to educate patients on blood specimen collection and fasting. Personal Pocket Lab Guide - this small flyer was also developed by the ASCLS Patient Safety Committee. It is desinged for patients to use to track their commonly performed lab tests; personalize with your lab's contact information. PowerPoint slides - Available January 2010 - Does your institution have an inhouse TV system or computer announcement system? Use these single PowerPoint slides during NMLPW to announce the week to others while informing others of that Laboratory Professionals Get Results! Lab Tests Online - an unprecedented resource for healthcare consumers to understand the meaning of their laboratory test results; information about how to promote this site is available
