Installation of Mary Ann McLane as the 75th President of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) occurred on July 25, 2009 at the annual ASCLS meeting in Chicago IL.

Scott Aikey, 2008-09 ASCLS President, is on the left. The eye patch on Mary Ann's glasses was from an episode of unexplained double vision which began on July 16 and continued through the entire meeting. Mary Ann said "I knew that being elected President of ASCLS would assume I would be a woman of vision. I had no idea that meant double vision!"
