DescriptionResolving serologic blood bank problems with limited resources can be a challenge. The skills of a trained technologist are essential as well as the right “tool of the trade”. Among the topics to be discussed with be techniques to phenotype RBCs, perform antibody detection and identification, investigate transfusion reactions, warm reactive autoantibodies and hemolytic disease of the newborn.
